Horizon Yacht USA welcomed owners and guests back to the Bahamas for the 2026 Owner Rendezvous, a three-day celebration of community, cruising, and the Horizon lifestyle. Set against the turquoise waters of the Abacos, this year’s event brought together Horizon owners and their guests for a thoughtfully curated program of island experiences, on-water activities, and social gatherings.
The Rendezvous began on Friday with a Welcome Breakfast at the Abaco Beach Resort, followed by a special christening ceremony for the FD100 The Rock. Owners and guests then departed by ferry to Guana Cay, where the group enjoyed a lively afternoon at Grabbers Beach Bar, complemented by live music from Jutt Huffman, all the way from Florida, who fully embraced the laid-back spirit of the islands. The day concluded with a Sundowner Dock Party, featuring dockside dining, cocktails, and a festive taco party atmosphere, with Jutt Huffman continuing the entertainment into the evening.
Saturday’s program highlighted the fleet with a series of “Retro Yacht Hops,” inspired by a 1970s theme that carried throughout the day. Owners graciously welcomed guests aboard their yachts and provided appetizers and a special cocktail during the afternoon events. Each yacht embraced the retro concept with creative nods to classic 1970s films and décor—ranging from themed styling to playful touches like shag-inspired interiors—creating a fun, immersive experience for guests as they moved from yacht to yacht. Friendly onboard competitions for Best Cocktail, Best Hors d’Oeuvre, and Best Aft Deck Décor added to the energy and camaraderie. The evening concluded with cocktails, dinner, and dancing at the Abaco Inn on Elbow Cay, an amazing oceanfront restaurant with truly outstanding views that offered a refined yet relaxed island setting for owners to enjoy each other’s company.
On Sunday, guests met for breakfast before gathering on the dock for a standout group photo, with the Horizon fleet as a striking backdrop—capturing both the scale of the event and the spirit of the community. The day continued with flexible island hopping, as guests split into groups—some exploring Hope Town by golf cart, while others returned to Guana Cay to enjoy Nipper’s Beach Bar & Grill. The Rendezvous concluded with a Farewell Beach Bash, complete with dinner, dancing, and a vibrant Junkanoo performance—an energetic sendoff that reflected the warmth and camaraderie of the Horizon family.
The 2026 Owner Rendezvous once again underscored the strength of the Horizon family, offering owners not only an opportunity to explore beautiful cruising grounds, but also to connect, celebrate, and create lasting memories together.
