Now in build for an American owner, the new FD90 features a customized layout
The owner of the newest FD90 selected Horizon for its willingness to customize the yacht’s layout to his specifications. Featuring a Skyline configuration, the five-stateroom vessel boasts plentiful dining and lounging areas on the upper deck to suit the owner’s preferences.
Accessed from the main deck aft, the spacious main salon is designed in the traditional configuration, with a large lounging area to port and a dayhead aft to starboard. A convertible dining table accommodating up to ten is positioned forward and easily serviced by the galley, which the owner opted to have remain open to the dining area. The master stateroom is situated furthest forward, with plentiful closet space and built-in loungers in the windows to either side. Four further staterooms comprised of two mirrored VIPS, a twin with Pullman bunk to port and a convertible twin in the bow are specified for the lower deck, with crew quarters for up to four and a beach garage aft of the engine room.
The upper deck showcases the extent of amenities that can be incorporated into this voluminous, sub-100ft model. Here the owner requested a large seating and lounging area on the boat deck with a circular dining table for eight just aft of the enclosed skylounge. The skylounge itself features an l-shaped sofa with a pull-out bed opposite the dayhead and owners’ desk area. A large Jacuzzi tub takes up the space just forward of the wheelhouse and is surrounded by sunpads opposite additional lounging.
Now in build and on schedule to deliver to her owner in Summer 2022, this FD90 is planned to cruise Florida, The Bahamas and Mexico after delivery.
