This Horizon FD75 (Fast Displacement) features three-stateroom layout with a semi on-deck, full-beam master stateroom (one of the hallmarks of the FD75 model), with two large full-beam guest staterooms on the lower deck.
The current owners were heavily involved in the design process and worked in tandem with both the Horizon Yacht Australia (HYA) team and the yard’s in-house design centre to execute a sophisticated and modern interior that perfectly complements the signature styling of the Cor D. Rover-designed series.
On the main deck, a spacious aft deck houses a dining table and flows into the main salon, which features an L-shaped seating area with large dining area and country-kitchen-style galley occupying the full 20’ 4” beam forward. The impressive interior package features satin Acacia wood complemented by Michelangelo marble stonework. The stonework itself serves as a focal point in the galley area, where it is both the backsplash and the feature stone of the centre island with waterfall edges. A slatted feature wall disguises the full-height appliances and divides the galley area from the forward master suite, which is accessed via three steps down. Here, the Acacia wood is complemented by carpeting and textured wallpaper and highlighted by Michelangelo stonework.
On the lower deck, a spacious laundry room is complemented by two additional staterooms forward of the engine room. Each comprises the yacht’s full beam and features large closets and en suites. A beach club with a lounge area and day-head resides aft of the engine room.
A floating interior staircase in the main salon leads to the enclosed sky lounge on the uppermost deck which features a helm-station with three fixed helm chairs with a comfortable U-shaped settee and day-head in the lounge area. The large open boat deck offers plenty of space for entertaining with tender storage aft. Settees for relaxing and sunbathing are positioned on the foredeck.

The experience of 38 years in the marine industry has been a major influence when, the previous owners of HORIZON Australia, ordered this boat for themselves. This Horizon E56 is the only one of its kind, the hull sides are painted in a metallic 2 pak ‘Porsche Meridian colour’. The Horizon 56 is a big volume World Class Cruiser featuring high ceilings throughout and ample natural lighting with its use of smart glass [UV/heat limiting] ceiling panels. With all the latest electronic aids this E56 can be easily handled by 2 at the same time, its ideal for a large family, guests and even puppies with its recessed side decks. Manoeuvring is made easy with bow and stern thrusters plus the wireless dual band ‘Yacht Controller’ operating gears and thrusters remotely whilst walking around the decks. The 3.8mtr RIB Horizon RIB [with Yamaha 30hp power trim oil injected outboard] can be easily launched is just 30 seconds with the extra large hydraulic swim platform.
Whilst the E56 is a large volume cruiser the 715hp Caterpillar Diesels can push this boat to 28 knots max. Fuel and extra load makes little difference to the performance. A good cruising speed can be around 21knots at around 1900rpm at around 80ltrs per side. The engines and the Onan gen set have just been serviced with nil hours since.
